    Verbier

Internationally renown, Verbier has to be considered as more of a town than a village. The skiing, mountain biking and scenery easily match the spectacular nightlife. This sun basked village looks out over the val de Bagnes onto the Grand Combin, whose 4000m ice capped peak is a local challenge for mountaineers.
Verbier is in the Valais region of Switzerland and has the following activities:
Skiing, Telemark skiing, Snowboarding, With a range of different slope difficulties, Verbier offers more to the good skier and is a virtual Mecca for the free ride skier. See the red bull extreme for the steepest snowboard competition around! Mountain Biking, The numerous mountain bike tracks around Verbier are all well marked and of varying degrees of difficulty. It is of no wonder that the Grand Raid Cristalp kicks off its 130 kilometres of cols and valleys to arrive in Grimentz. Partying, Try the Mont Fort Pub or Taras night club for partying. Horse-Back Riding, Cultural Visits, The Verbier classical music festival in the summer is hosts some of the worlds greatest performers. Rock Climbing, Mountaineering, Ski – Touring, Verbier is the kick-off point for the shortened version of the Haute Route and every two years the “patrouille des glaciers” ends here after a gruelling non-stop race from Zermatt. Hiking / Walking, Nature Appreciation, Paragliding,
